New Mityvac FST Pro Fuel System Testers

Mityvac has introduced its new MV5545 Fuel System Tester. Designed to identify common fuel system failures, the tester can diagnose a failing fuel pump, faulty pressure regulator, blocked filter, pinched fuel line, contaminated fuel and fuel tank vortex. By measuring fuel system pressure and flow, the MV5545 saves the mechanic hours of troubleshooting time, locating problems in seconds.

The patented system simulates extreme driving conditions in the shop to provide a quick, accurate diagnosis. Capable of testing both return and returnless fuel systems, including electronic control, the MV5545 also provides clear visualization of fuel to detect impurities and air bubbles. The tester kit includes a 3.5-inch high-pressure gauge with rubber boot, push-button relief valve and hanging hook, as well as a 4-foot pressure test hose. The MV5545 comes with an inline pressure test hose and 37 adapters, making it compatible with most automobiles manufactured in the United States, Europe and Asia. New Mityvac Compression Tester Kits

Mityvac’s MV5532 gas and MV5535 and MV5536 diesel compression tester and test kits offer electronic memory to store peak compression values for up to 12 cylinders. All three models feature an easy-to-read backlit LCD display, manual pressure relief/reset valve and protective rubber boot. Available in a custom molded case, the testers operate on a standard 9V battery, and display pressure values in PSI, Bar or kPa.

Mityvac MV6830 Vacuum Brake Bleeder/Evacuato

The Mityvac MV6830 Vacuum Brake Bleeder/Evacuator was developed for the automotive service professional. This portable unit operates on compressed air, and includes accessories for vacuum bleeding automotive hydraulic systems. It also functions well for evacuating fluids from small tanks and reservoirs.

The MV6830's compact, 1.9-quart (1.8 liter) reservoir allows the operator to perform multiple bleed jobs without emptying, thereby reducing downtime. The unit bleeds at a rate of up to two quarts (1.9 liters) per minute for increased productivity and features a variable thumb throttle to maintain desired flow rate.

The MV6830 has a swivel air inlet to prevent kinks in the air hose during movement and a hook that allows the unit to be hung out of the way during use.

The reservoir and lid feature large, coarse threads to reduce cross threading, and the bench-mountable, molded base keeps the unit secure while removing or replacing the lid. The MV6830 has an automatic shutoff valve to prevent overfilling and a convenient quick-disconnect coupler for fast accessory changes.
